Jane at Harrogate 2026

Jane Harper will be at this year's Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival to talk about her latest book, Last One Out.

Jane and the creator of the much-loved DCI Ryan series, L.J. Ross, will be in conversation with journalist Gaby Huddart for the sold-out event. Together they will discuss using remote and atmospheric locations to spin beguiling stories of murder and mystery, and the process of bringing characters to life on the page.

"I'm really looking forward to it," Jane said of the event. "It's always so much fun to meet readers and chat to them about the books."

The Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival is on in Harrogate from July 23-36. Jane will be on the Theakston Stage, at the Old Swan Hotel, at 5pm on Saturday, July 25.
