Force of Nature cover revealed

Five women pick up their backpacks and start walking along a muddy track. Only four come out on the other side.
The hike through the rugged Giralang Ranges is meant to take the office colleagues out of their air-conditioned comfort zone. At least that's what the corporate retreat website advertises.
Federal Police Agent Aaron Falk has a particularly keen interest in the whereabouts of the missing bushwalker. Alice Russell is the whistleblower in his latest case – and Alice knew secrets. About the company she worked for and the people she worked with.
Far from the hike encouraging teamwork, the women tell Falk a tale of suspicion, violence and disintegrating trust. And as he delves into the disappearance, it seems some dangers may run far deeper than anyone knew.
The Australian cover for Jane Harper's new novel Force of Nature has been unveiled.
Force of Nature will hit shelves in Australia in October, and is due for release in the US, the UK and in translation in 2018.
The book is the second outing from the author of The Dry, which was named Book of the Year at the 2017 Indie Awards last month.
Force of Nature sees the return of Federal Police officer Aaron Falk, this time facing a fresh mystery in the wilds of the Australian bushland.
Jane said the novel is similar in tone and feel to The Dry, and while not a direct sequel, it builds on a number of themes and characters introduced in her first book.
"I'm so thrilled to be able to share this first glimpse of the beautiful Australian cover," Jane said. "I'm really excited to introduce Force of Nature to readers, and I hope those who enjoyed The Dry will enjoy this second book just as much."
